Hello and welcome! I'm Shelley, floristry professional and founder of Studio Fifty Three.

​

My signature style combines natural textures, harmonious colour palettes, gentle movement and a touch of luxury, taking inspiration from nature but designing with intention.

 

Authenticity, and attention to detail, is at the heart of everything I design. Working closely with you I ensure your flowers feel connected to your occasion through meaning, significance and seasonality. This results in beautiful florals that capture a moment in time and feel truly personal.

When I'm not designing I'm usually found running around after my two boys, husband, mini dachshund and bearded dragon!

I love nothing more than just hanging out with family and friends, with a few drinks and good conversation.

I like to think of myself as a runner, having completed multiple events over the last 10 years including the London Marathon, Great North Run and many more!

​​​​​​My Story: After raising my young family I found myself at a career crossroads. I took the opportunity to finally follow my creative passion and retrained as a florist, spending two years gaining my qualifications and picking up multiple awards along the way.

 

I went on to build my experience in weddings, events, retail and corporate floristry with a leading events florist, before deciding to harness my creative enthusiasm to build a brand of my own. Today, I work from my purpose-built floral studio in Warfield, Berkshire - Studio Fifty Three.

Alongside Shelley is her dedicated husband and sons. Together they form a hard working, logistics and support team who ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

From building the studio itself, sourcing materials and fabricating structures, to lifting, shifting, and helping with delivery, setting up and clearing.
