WEDDING/EVENT FLOWERS - Terms & Conditions

 BOOKING FEE 

To secure your wedding/event flowers, we request a non-refundable booking fee of 20% of the quoted cost. This fee secures your date, covers administrative time, consultations, and the loss of other bookings for the same date. It will be deducted from your final balance.

 QUOTATION & PAYMENT 

Following your consultation, we will provide a written quotation. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
Once accepted, you may make reasonable changes to your order up until 6 weeks before the wedding/event date. At that point your final invoice will be issued, and no further changes may be made.
Payment is accepted by cash or bank transfer, and must be received in full at least 30 days before your wedding day. If payment has not been received by this date, the booking will be treated as cancelled by you, and the booking fee will be forfeited.

​For events taking place within 30 days of booking, full payment is due immediately. Flowers and materials will not be ordered until payment has been received in full.

 CANCELLATION BY YOU 

Cancellation must be submitted in writing. Your booking fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

If you cancel your booking within 30 days of your wedding/event, all money paid up to that point will be forfeited.

If you cancel individual items after your final balance has been paid, refunds will only be considered where flowers and/or materials have not yet been purchased. Costs already incurred will be deducted from any refund issued.

 CANCELLATION BY STUDIO FIFTY THREE 

We have a trusted team and network of freelance florists who may assist us if required. In the unlikely event we need to cancel due to exceptional and unavoidable circumstances, all money paid to us will be refunded in full. We will also make reasonable efforts to suggest alternative florists. We cannot be held responsible for any additional costs beyond the refund provided.
We reserve the right to terminate our services without refund in cases of abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour.

 AVAILABILITY OF FLOWERS 

While we will work closely with your wish list, specific flowers and foliage cannot be guaranteed. If particular varieties are unavailable or of poor quality, we will use suitable alternatives of equivalent value and style to best match your requirements.

 HIRED ITEMS 

Hired glassware, ceramics, plinths, structures or other items remain the property of Studio Fifty Three. Charges will be made for loss or damage, at the current replacement cost. If your venue or another third party is responsible, it is your responsibility to recover costs from them.
If you have agreed to return hired items yourself to avoid a collection fee, you are responsible for their safe return. Any unreturned items will be charged for.
Studio Fifty Three accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage except where caused by our negligence.

 USE OF MAGNETS 

If you specifically request magnets to be used instead of pins for attaching flowers to clothing, you must ensure that the wearer does not have a pacemaker or ICD, as magnets may interfere with these devices. Studio Fifty Three accepts no responsibility for any health issues arising from the use of magnets.

 PHOTOGRAPHS 

Studio Fifty Three reserves the right to take photographs of flowers and settings before the event. These may be used for portfolio and promotional purposes, but will not include identifiable images of guests without permission.

 DELIVERY & SETUP 

It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate delivery locations and access details. Studio Fifty Three cannot be held responsible for delays caused by incorrect information.

 COMPLAINTS 

We take great care with our work. If you are unhappy, please raise any concerns as soon as possible and ideally within 24 hours, with photographic evidence where appropriate. This allows us the best chance to resolve issues as promptly as possible.

 UPDATES TO T&Cs 

Minor updates to these Terms and Conditions may be made to improve clarity. Any material changes will be provided to you in writing and will only apply if agreed by you. By paying the booking fee, you confirm your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
