Wedding Florals - Terms & Conditions
Booking Fee:
To secure your wedding flowers, we request a non-refundable 20% booking fee. This fee is deducted from your final balance. Once received, your date is secured.
Quotation & Payment:
After your free consultation, we’ll send you a quote for the cost of your wedding flowers. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Once accepted you may make changes or amendments to your order up until 6 weeks before the wedding day, at which point your final invoice will be sent and no further changes may be made. Payment is accepted by cash or bank transfer, and is required in full at least 30 days before your wedding day.
PLEASE NOTE: If payment has not been received by this time your flowers will not be ordered.
Cancellation:
In the event of cancellation by you, the booking fee cannot be refunded. Please advise us in writing if you wish to cancel.
Studio Fifty Three has a trusted team and network of freelance florists who are able to assist in fulfilling your wedding flower order if required. However, should we need to cancel due to exceptional and unavoidable circumstances, all money received will be repaid. Studio Fifty Three will only be responsible for refunding the money paid directly to us. Any other costs incurred due to the inconvenience are at your own expense. In the event that we have to cancel due to slander, abusive conduct, etc., all money paid is forfeit, and there is no right to any refund.
Cancellations of Individual Items:
There are no refunds for cancellations of individual items after the final balance has been paid, unless by the agreement of both parties. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the wedding date may forfeit full payment if flowers have already been ordered and the order cannot be cancelled.
Availability of Flowers:
We do not guarantee specific flower or foliage varieties. We will work with your wish lists and, if available, include your specified flowers and foliage. However, if they are unavailable or of poor quality, we will use suitable alternatives that best match your requirements. All fresh flowers are subject to availability and quality checks.
Hired items:
Charges will be made for any damage to hired glassware, china, or other hired items. Replacement of goods is charged at the current purchase price. It is your responsibility to reclaim any of these costs from the venue or third party if they were at fault. Hired items remain the property of Studio Fifty Three at all times.
Studio Fifty Three accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to you or any third party, due to any equipment hired for use at the event.
Use of magnets:
If you have specifically requested that magnets are to be used instead of pins to attach floral items to clothes please ensure that the wearer does not have a pacemaker fitted. A magnet may stop the pacemaker from working properly. Studio Fifty Three accepts no responsibility for any resulting health issues that may arise from magnets, pacemakers, or ICDs.
Photographs:
Studio Fifty Three reserves the right to take photographs of the flowers and setting before the event, which may be used for promotional purposes.
Delivery and Setup:
It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate delivery locations. Studio Fifty Three will not be held responsible for lateness caused by an incorrect address.
Complaints:
Any complaints must be made within 24 hours, accompanied by photographic evidence. No responsibility can be taken for poor condition once the flowers have been approved.
Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. By paying the booking fee, you agree to these terms and any changes made, which will always be minor changes to wording only. Any major changes will be presented via email.
